Overnight: Thamalakane River Lodge

Thamalakane River Lodge is ideally located an easy 20-minute drive from Maun Airport en route to the famous Moremi Game Reserve. It is a secluded haven of tranquility nestled in a grove of mature riverine trees on the bank of the Thamalakane River. The rambling lodge has an idyllic setting and is committed to service excellence.

Character en-suite stone chalets, are positioned in the shade of the riverine forest, overlooking the river. All chalets and common areas have terraces that take advantage of the serene 180 degree view of the riverbanks lined with fluttering reeds visited by an ever changing array of water fowl and birds.

High tea commences at 16:00 in the open-plan dining area, setting the stage for your upcoming adventure. Indulge in a selection of hot and cold beverages, delectable pastries, and savory treats while marveling at the views of the pan. Following your introduction to your guide, you can opt for a sundowner drive or simply unwind and enjoy the evening at the lodge.

Overnight: Nogatsaa Pans Chobe Lodge

Nogatsaa Pans Chobe Lodge is an eco-conscious, solar powered lodge and blends into its natural environment. Overlooking the Kwikamba Pan, the largest fresh water pan in the area. Nogatsaa’s 12 luxurious and spacious canvas tents are designed to take advantage of these views. Each tent has an expansive private balcony and outdoor shower with a view of the pristine wilderness.

When guests aren’t cocooned in the comfort and luxury of their tent, they can enjoy the main area of the lodge which boasts viewing decks, raised platforms and multiple lounges. The main area is thatched and overlooks a bustling pan where lion, buffalo, roan, sable and large breeding herds of elephant frequent.

Game drives take place through an established road network, meandering through mature Mopane woodlands providing exciting game viewing, a section of land that is also rich with bird life.

Onguma Bush Camp is ideal for families who would like to have a base from which they can explore Etosha National Park. Upon your return, relax and cool off around the swimming pool while watching a spectacular sunset… and the children can run around on the lawns as this is an enclosed camp.

Dinner is served in the dinning area overlooking a large waterhole. Here you will be treated to an excellent combination of European and traditional African cuisine while watching the game coming to drink.

The lodge’s hallmarks are luxury and plenty of privacy. This remarkable place is superbly suited for safari excursions into Etosha. The main building is surrounded by large, ancient mopane trees in a wild, but park-like setting. Upon entering the lobby with the bar and spacious seating areas, the eye is drawn through the open building to the vast savannah, where often enough the first animals can be spotted right then. The large infinity pool also offers fantastic views of the open plain in front of the lodge and the two waterholes. The best spot to enjoy the sunset with a drink of your choice. After that we will treat you to a delicious 5-course dinner in our restaurant.

Our spacious chalets have been integrated into nature with loving care. They are placed so far apart and aligned so cleverly, that there is no sign of a neighbor. As a result, the rooms offer a high degree of privacy and unobstructed views of the savannah. The ingredients for a relaxed sojourn are 75 m² of living space, tasteful natural furnishings and colors, air conditioning and Wi-Fi in the room, minibar, tea and coffee station, and above all the incredible view. The Namib Outpost is located in the Namib Tsaris Nature Reserve, a private nature reserve that is dedicated to protecting the unique and fragile desert environment.

Namib Outpost lies well off the main roads with views into the world-famous Namib- Naukluft National Park, home to the Namib Sand Sea, a UNESCO World Heritage Site which includes Sossusvlei, Deadvlei, Dune 45 and the Sesriem Canyon. The lodge offers relaxed hospitality with
a natural atmosphere. On the wide open desert plains, wildlife, roaming the endless grasslands, can sometimes be observed. Various activities are offered to the guests: Excursions to Sossusvlei, as well

Overnight: Kalahari Red Dunes Lodge

The Kalahari Red Dunes Lodge is located in and around a vlei in the dunes of the western outskirts of the Kalahari. It is here where the vast Karoo desert meets the first red dunes of the Kalahari desert. The small lodge, with its individually and lovingly designed suites, offers high amounts of space and privacy. The new, spacious reception building welcomes the guests. Following a wooden walkway, the main building, with a restaurant and cozy fireplace, bar, attached lounge and the new
“Kalahari Lounge” with a fine selection of whiskey and a pool with a shaded area and
pool loungers, is located in the center of the vlei.

Guests are welcome to explore the Kalahari desert on foot, on the well-signposted network of hiking trails, by bicycle, or on one of the nature drives in the morning or afternoon.

The vastness of the African Savannah can be experienced on the 2-day TRANS KALAHARI WALK. This guided hike leads through desert-like sceneries and their habitat of giraffes, zebras and antelopes and offers one overnight stay in a luxury tented camp in the dunes.
